Ndaiziveyi Machisa is the founder and Director of Diadem Family, a community interest Company dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer, survivors and their families, with a strong focus on the BAME community while remaining inclusive of all backgrounds.
As a breast cancer survivor Ndaiziveyi founded Diadem Family from lived experience and a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and social challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, Her journey revealed the importance of culturally sensitive, community-led care that supports not only physical and emotional wellbeing,but also spiritual strength.
Through Diadem Family, she has created safe and welcoming spaces,where women can connect, share, laugh and strengthen one another, The organisation offers meet-ups home visits,goodie packages ,engagement with health professionals, and faith based-based support for those who wish to draw on their spiritual beliefs for comfort and hope ,while respecting all faiths and backgrounds. Caregivers and families are also supported by being given time to rest and recharge.
